Krasinski Closer might be Captain America?

Well to tell you the truth, I have no idea who this guy is. I take it has been in some movies, small roles and on TV. I don’t watch TV anymore, other then Heroes on Monday’s when it runs, I use to watch other shows but I more or less loss myself to wanting to even watch TV at all. Just to much more I rather do with my endless free time these days. You can read all about it here.

The main thing I kind of want to talk about the way Marvel is going about making their movies. I think it’s a great thing that they want to link all their movies together. In a way, they are comic book movies, they are over the top, silly sometimes but fun. That’s the point after all, comic books are over the top as it is with what they do, even if someone dies they always come back later. That’s how it is, deal with it.

I would love to see Marvel get back some of the movies they don’t own rights to. I think Sony redoing Spiderman is a mistake. Yes I disliked the 3rd one, they messed up Venom, I rather they hadn’t push him in and left it for someone who cared about the character to do him right, being Vemon could really carry his own movie like Doc Ock did. But point in taken, I just don’t get it and even know I really don’t like some of the choices for Spiderman form the start, I wouldn’t mind Tobey Maguire being a voice over for Spiderman having him show up in Iron Man or even in Captain America and who knows what other movies Marvel would do. Same goes for some of the characters of X-Men, they just are who I believe, being they gave something to the role, and not just there to pick up a paycheck like alot of the actors are these days.

Case in point with Captain America, I remember the one back in the 80s.. holy fuck was that movie bad. But I enjoy it, the same with the spin off TV show that had I believe a short run that was about Cap’s son, who rode a bike and his mask was a helmet and all that really silly stuff. My point is, I really hope they do this right. I’m worried that Captain America will not do well, like the new Hulk did. Was it better then the one before it in 2003? Fucking yes.. but it was too forgettable and most people simply forgot about it after they saw it, so it’s no shock that Marvel has not plan on another one as of let.

We’ll just have to wait and see, he has not yet gotten the part and even if he does it’ll be something to see how he plays up against the other actors Mavel has signed on and I hope we don’t get any more big issues like we had with Iron Man losing an actor like that.
